What can be used for washing instead of washing powder

1. Toilet or laundry soap. Before use it needs to be crushed. To do this, rub the soap on a grater and place it inside the drum of the washing machine, sprinkling linen on it.
2. Soda Ash This useful tool has many applications in the household. It is especially suitable for washing cotton and flax. The tool will not only remove dirt, but also a little bleach fabrics. To do this, simply set the temperature at 50-70 degrees.
3. Mustard powder. Place 50 grams of product in the drum. Wash at 40 degrees (with more heat the mustard may lose its qualities). After such a procedure, the linen will not only acquire purity, but will also smell fresh.
4. Salt. For washing, take water into the basin (while measuring its quantity) and put the clothes in it. Then squeeze out the laundry and set it aside for a while. Dissolve enough salt in water at the rate of one tablespoon per liter of water. Now put the wet clothes in the solution and soak for an hour. Then rinse it in clean water.

Reference! Before using soap it is necessary to determine the hardness of the water. To do this, dissolve a little soap chips in a glass of hot water and wait for it to cool completely. The easiest is made on the basis of soap. In addition to it, you will need washing soda and borax. Of these, the mixture is made in the following proportions: 2 parts of soap, 1 part of soda and 1 part of borax. For one wash cycle, 125 ml of this mixture is sufficient.

Attention! When using this method, add a glass of wine vinegar to the rinse water: it will help to wash the soap from the clothes better.

Soap root solution (raw materials for it can be prepared independently or purchased in a pharmacy).

To wash one kilogram of dry laundry you will need a decoction prepared from 0.5 liters of water and 50 grams of root. Soap root is poured boiling water and infused during the day. Use this solution only in fresh form.

Instead of the soap root, you can use ground horse chestnut fruits (removing a brown shell from them).

For washing, fill the ground chestnuts with hot water.

Other means:

1. Broth beans, which is made from 200 grams of grains and a liter of water. It should strain it through cheesecloth in the pelvis. Stir with hot water until frothy, and you can start washing.
2. Wood ash. This tool was used by our distant ancestors. For washing, the ash must be wrapped in gauze and placed in water. Soak for some time so that the alkali from the ash is transferred to the water, then the gauze is removed - and you can start washing.

For this method, the ash should be free of impurities, that is, it should not contain the products of burning synthetics.
