How to check the vibration on the PC joystick: step by step instructions

Gamepad is considered very convenient for games, because the joystick has a vibration and analogue joints. But this feature often fails and needs to be checked.

Vibration is checked as follows:

Run a game that can work with a gamepad.
Go to the option and check if the vibration mode is on. We pass several levels in the game.
In standard cases, the function appears when explosions, impacts, damage, video clips, or traffic on the sidelines. But if during the half hour of the game it does not appear, the device does not work correctly.
We need to look for the Vibration button located on the front panel next to the Mode. If you press this key, the gamepad vibrates, which indicates that the device is working. Remember, by pressing this button, we turn the feedback on or off, and the vibrations appear in both cases (lasting about 2 seconds).
Need to install drivers. They should be on the boot disk. If not, download from the Internet. The application should include programs with registry files and device calibration and debugging. In some devices there are programs that allow you to check the calibration of the gamepad. For example, by clicking on a combination of buttons, different sounds appear along with the vibration function. If the latter are present, the device is operating normally.
Now you need to check the compatibility of this game and the joystick. Devices are new and outdated. There are no external differences, the algorithm of their work differs. On old games, there are no problems, but modern ones require new devices that are capable of creating the necessary functions. Perhaps the joystick is working, but it is simply outdated.
