1. Machine carpets. American engineer Cobble is the author of the idea of ​​tufting. And he realized it in the form of equipment that reinforces twisted yarn directly on the basis. Something like a machine resembles a sewing machine. Containing a large number of hooks and needles, the machine worked at high speed, creating very good products. Mechanization of the process dealt a severe blow to manual weaving. Nevertheless, the products turned out to be of high quality, they were produced in bulk. Not the least value was the relatively low price.
2. Hand Carpets. The technology in manual application is extremely interesting, as it provides the master with virtually unlimited possibilities in choosing the form, volume and other parameters. It is even possible to make inserts from other materials. Leather, metal, wood and other jewelry only give originality to the product.
